Teaser Tuesday #5

Teaser Tuesday is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along just do the following

* Grab your current read

* Open to a random page

* Share a few “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

* Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

I have a few current reads so I'm going to post a teaser for each one :)

#1: Parched by Z.L. Arkadie (Kindle Edition)
"I move swiftly across the field and walk through the unlocked front door. The Silence and stillness is eerie. Blocking out Lario, I call for Fawn while moving through the 'reading area' and then through the kitchen, which is abandoned."

#2: Past Perfect by Leila Sales
"I don't know if they were born so unappealingn and turned to history for companionship because they were to grotesque to attract real-life friends, or if their love for history came first, and maybe they could have turned out hot, but instead they invested all their energy in watching twelve-hour documentaries about battleships. It's a chicken-or-the-egg type of question." p.1-2

#3: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
"'Oh, goody, she's back. Ok, I'm going to sleep. You and Nuts can guard together,' Johanna says. She goes over and flings herself down beside Finnick." p.390

That's it for this week. Feel free to share your own teasers, I want to know what you're reading :)

  2. Yeah, I'm reading a lot of books at the same time lately so I'm having a few teasers each post.
    And I know what it's like to have a laptop that's flippin' on you ... Mine finally crashed about a month ago, right in the middle of my exams. I'm glad I have a new one right now. I hope yours will start working properly soon though :)
