Teaser Tuesday #2 (on Wednesday)

Teaser Tuesday is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading.
I forgot to post this yesterday and I didn't put on up last week, so I figured I owed you one :)

Anyone can play along just do the following

* Grab your current read

* Open to a random page

* Share a few “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

* Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

My current read is 'Lament' by Maggie Stiefvater
'"Whoa. No offence, but I never thought, like, you'd be the type to get a guy, so ..."
I turned around. It occurred to me in a me-looking-at-my-own-life-from-outside-my-body way, that Sara was being condescending' p76

Feel free to post your own teasers in the comments or make your own blogpost and post the link below, I'm curious to see what you are reading :)

IMM #2

So as people who frequently visit book-blogs know 'In my mailbox' is a feature that bloggers post to tell you what books they got in the last week or so.
I haven't bought any books this week, but I have received a few books from my best friend:
The Haunted - Jessica Verday
After a summer spent reclaiming her sanity and trying to forget the boy she fell in love with—the boy who must not exist, cannot exist, because she knows that he is dead—Abbey returns to Sleepy Hollow, ready to leave the ghosts of her past behind. She throws herself into her schoolwork, her perfume-making, and her friendship with Ben, her cute and funny lab partner, who just might be her ticket to getting over Caspian once and for all.

But Abbey can never get over Caspian, and Caspian has no choice but to return to her side, for Caspian is a Shade, and Abbey is his destiny. They are tied not only to each other, but also to the town of Sleepy Hollow, and to the famous legend that binds their fates—a legend whose dark truths they are only beginning to guess....

“Spectacular! The Hollow keeps you reading from beginning to end without coming up for air.” —L.J. Smith, bestselling author of The Vampire Diaries and Night World

Goddess of Legend - P.C. Cast
After her car plummets off a bridge, Isabel, a world-weary photojournalist, struggles between life and death when she's saved by the Water Goddess-with one tiny caveat: Isabel must travel to another time to seduce the legendary Lancelot du Lac away from Queen Guinevere.

The handsome knight is a dream for any woman in any century. But Isabel is the one who's seduced by King Arthur. For Isabel, a deal is a deal. Now, the King watches as fate takes from him the mysterious beauty he has come to worship, knowing all too well that any interference on his part could destroy the kingdom he loves.

IMM #1

So as people who frequently visit book-blogs know 'In my mailbox' is something that bloggers use to tell you what books they got in the last week or so.
I have always like this but this is the first time I'm truly participating.
So without further ado here are the books I got this week:

I would love to here what you guys got this week, so leave me a comment on this post.
I look forward to reading them.

Exodus by Julie Bertagna

I'm currently reading Exodus by Julie Bertagna and I'm loving it so far.
Even though it took me a while to get into it has become a nice read.
I don't have a lot of time to read at the moment (due to exams :( ) but I feel like I'm going to finish it pretty soon.
I'm going to try and write a decent review about it, but bear with me because it will be my first :)
