So another new feature I'm going to try.
What are you supposed to do you ask? Well, it's simple :)
There are two ways you can do this:
1. Listen to a song and decide what book you would link this to.
2. Read a book and find a song that fits a particular scene or larger parts of the book.

Film Friday #1

Every Friday I will try to post one of these.
In these posts I'll put movies in the spotlight. But since this is a bookblog, these movies have to have something to do with books. The easiest way to do that, is by choosing movies that are based on books :)
The first movie I want to spotlight is The Golden Compass based on the The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.

Review: The Alchemy of Forever

The Alchemy of Forever by Avery Williams

I liked this book. It was a good story with a great cliffhanger at the end. Can't wait to read the next book (if there's going to be one :)). I really like Serafina, she's a great character. Kailey has an amazing family and friends and Cyrus is a great villain. I loved the Noah and Kailey/Serafina dynamics. I thought it was an amazing read with a unique look on being immortal. I really want to know what happens next so I hope I can get my hands on the next book as soon as possible ^^

Review: Crescendo

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick

It took me a while to get into the book. But about a third into the story it started to get better and really absorb me. The further I got the harder it became to put the book down. I liked the story, but I wanted more Patch ... I don't really like the whole downer that was put on Patch and Nora's relationship. I know, relationships have ups and downs in real life to, but I don't like reading about them :)
I liked the new characters that were introduced and enjoyed finding out more about the past. It explains a few things and it gives a nice twist to the story.
The ending keeps me wanting more, the perfect clifhanger. I can't wait to get my hands on Silence and find out how it all continues ^^

Review: Linger

Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

This was a great book. I loved that we didn't just get Sam and Grace but also other characters. I'm glad there was this plot-twist even-though it started out a bit more of the same. Luckily there are the new characters that open-up a few new story-lines. I'm really looking forward to read Forever! I really like Sam and I want to see where the Isabel story-line will go. She's become a very interesting person and I really want to find out what goes on inside her head.
